Top tip: We print your CMYK image straight onto the textured silver surface. Therefore, your image will take on the texture and metallic nature of the surface. This adds depth to solid colours and imagery. Avoid using text smaller than 12pt to ensure it is legible. Any white areas in your artwork will appear silver. If you require a solid white background for your sign, you can order from our Aluminium Boards page.
Please note: These signs are metal, therefore can have sharp edges. We will pack your order to ensure it arrives safely. Please take care when unpacking and installing your sign.

Can I print it on both sides of the Board?
While the brushed finish is present on only one side, we can provide you with an exceptional single-sided print on this product.
Are Brushed Aluminium Boards waterproof?
Absolutely! Our Aluminium Signs are waterproof, and the inks we use to print on them are too. That means they are perfectly suited for the great outdoors.
How do I clean my Aluminium Boards?
Cleaning your Brushed Aluminium Boards is a breeze! Simply use a mild solution of dishwashing soap and water. Afterwards, make sure to dry it thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
What shapes do you offer?
The possibilities are endless! In addition to our standard square cut option, we're delighted to offer custom shapes that perfectly complement your artwork. Whether it's circles, clouds, or rounded corners you're after, we can make it happen. Just remember to include a cutter guide with your order. For more details, check out our hints and tips. It's important to note that for metal signs like these, we kindly ask you to avoid sharp corners in your design (e.g., a star shape). Instead, always opt for rounded corners to ensure smooth and safe edges.
How long will my Board last?
The lifespan of your Board largely depends on its exposure to elements such as rain and sunlight. When placed indoors, our Aluminium panels can last for approximately 10 years. If you choose to showcase your sign outdoors in the beautiful British weather, you can expect it to last for around 5 years. Rest assured, our panels are printed using waterproof and fade-resistant inks for long-lasting vibrancy.
How do I fix my Board?
You can easily affix these signs to most surfaces. Just make sure you have any additional fixings you may need. For maximum durability, we recommend using screws. If you have chosen a square-cut sign, you can effortlessly drill brushed dibond panels using a conventional drill. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can drill 4 x 5mm holes for you (one in each corner).

Our handy templates are available in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat PDF Format and the zipped folder can be downloaded to help you create your artwork to the right dimensions.
Download TemplatesUnzipping a folder is easy on both Apple Mac and PC. On a Mac, double-click the zipped folder or right-click and choose "Open With" > "Archive Utility." The contents will be extracted to the same location. On a PC, right-click the zipped folder and select "Extract All." Follow the prompts, choose the destination, and you'll find the unzipped folder in no time.
