Top tip: Our trade show stands are measured in squares (quadrants). For example, our 3 x 2 stand is 3 squares high and 2 squares wide. This is to allow you to easily calculate the area required for your stand.

What is a Pop-Up Exhibition Display?
It is a collapsible exhibition frame covered with custom-printed semi-rigid graphic panels. The panels attach magnetically to create a large branded backdrop that can be packed into a wheeled carry case.

What do sizes such as 3×3 and 4×3 mean?
The measurements refer to the number of frame sections across and high, not metres. For example, a 3×3 display is three sections wide and three sections high. Check the overall dimensions in the specification table when planning your exhibition space.

Which size should I choose?
A 1×3 or 2×3 display suits smaller spaces and presentations. A 3×3 is a practical general exhibition size, while 4×3 and 5×3 displays provide a wider backdrop for larger stands. Always check the venue's allocated floor space and height restrictions before ordering.

Should I choose a curved or straight display?
A curved display wraps gently around the back of the stand and requires more floor depth. A straight display provides a flat backdrop and takes up less depth, although its overall width is greater. Your artwork must use the template matching the selected shape.

What is the difference between single and double-sided?
Single-sided displays have printed panels across the front and around the two ends. Double-sided displays include additional panels across the back, allowing the system to be viewed from both directions.

Can I use different artwork on each side?
Yes. Different designs can be supplied for the front and back of a double-sided display. Both layouts must be prepared using the correct templates.

What is included with the display?
The system includes the collapsible frame, magnetic graphic panels, magnetic fixing bars, LED lights, a moulded wheeled carry case and a wooden tabletop for the case.

Is the carry-case graphic included?
The custom-printed carry-case graphic is available as an option. It wraps around the supplied case using hook-and-loop fastenings, converting the case into a branded reception counter. The case and wooden top are already included with the main display.

Can the carry-case graphic be removed?
Yes. The graphic attaches using hook-and-loop fastenings and can be removed, rolled and stored inside the case. Replacement case graphics can also be ordered.

How should I design the carry-case graphic?
Keep the main logo or message within the template's front area. Secondary information can be placed in the marked side areas. Avoid positioning important content across the curved corners, where it may appear distorted.

Are lights included?
Yes. The 1×3 display includes one LED light. The 2×3, 3×3, 4×3 and 5×3 displays include two LED lights.

How long does the display take to assemble?
Allow approximately 15 minutes. Expand and secure the frame, attach the magnetic bars, position the graphic panels in order and fit the lights. Assembly does not require specialist installation.

Do the graphics consist of one continuous panel?
No. The artwork is divided into separate vertical panels. These align when fitted to create the complete design. Avoid placing small text or important details directly across the panel joins.

Are Pop-Up Displays easy to transport?
The frame, graphics and accessories pack into the supplied wheeled case. The packed system is substantial, so check access, stairs and transport arrangements before travelling to the venue.

Can the graphics remain attached during storage?
Remove the graphic panels before collapsing the frame. Roll and store them carefully inside the case to prevent creases, scratches or damage to the magnetic fixings.

Can I order replacement graphics?
Yes. Replacement graphic panels can be supplied for compatible Pop-Up Display hardware. Confirm the frame size, shape and number of printed sides before ordering.

Can the display be used outdoors?
No. Traditional Pop-Up Displays are designed for indoor exhibitions, conferences, retail spaces and events.

Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable because each display requires a specialist template prepared at 20% scale, with artwork divided across several panels. Contact SM1 before starting so we can confirm whether Canva is suitable for your design.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are required. We can also create a complete Pop-Up Exhibition Display and carry-case design using your branding, logos, messaging and event information.
