Which size should I choose?
Small and Medium flags suit entrances, shops and smaller event spaces. Large and Extra Large flags provide greater visibility in open areas and at outdoor venues.

What is the difference between left-facing and right-facing?
A right-facing flag has the pole on the left of the graphic. A left-facing flag has the pole on the right. Choose the orientation that best suits its position and viewing direction.

Can Crest Flags be printed on both sides?
Yes. Double-sided printing is available in Small, Medium and Large. Two printed graphics are separated by a blockout layer so the artwork displays correctly on both sides. Single-sided flags have approximately 80–90% show-through on the reverse, where the design appears mirrored.

Which base do I need?
Ground spikes suit appropriate soft ground, while weighted or fillable bases are intended for hard surfaces. The correct base also depends on the flag size and is ordered separately.

Can Crest Flags be used outdoors?
Yes, for temporary outdoor display in suitable conditions. Dismantle the flag during heavy rain, adverse weather or winds exceeding Beaufort Scale 4, approximately 13–18mph.

How should I clean and store the graphic?
Wash the fabric at 30°C without detergent and allow it to dry completely before storing. Keep the flag away from surrounding objects that could catch or snag the material.

Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable for this large, shaped display because the artwork must follow a specialist template and may need to be prepared at a reduced scale.
If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable for your design or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
