Heras Fence Banners and Multi-Panel Runners

Heras Fence Banners turn temporary fencing into practical advertising, branding or screening for construction sites, developments and outdoor events.

Choose a standard banner for one 3.5m × 2m fence panel or a multi-panel runner for a continuous design across two to six panels. Two breathable polyester materials and square or angled top corners are available.

Need graphics for a vehicle or pedestrian gate? These are available as separate products.

What is the difference between a standard banner and a multi-panel runner? A standard banner covers one 3.5m fence panel. A runner is one continuous graphic designed to extend across two to six adjoining panels, allowing artwork to flow across the full run.

Which material should I choose? AirMesh Polyester is the lighter option and has a more open weave, allowing more air to pass through it. Fabric Mesh Premium is heavier and stronger, making it suitable when improved durability and a denser printed appearance are preferred. Both materials are designed for outdoor mesh-banner applications.

Should I choose angled or square top corners? Angled corners include a 130mm cut at the two upper corners and are generally the best fit for round-top Heras panels. Choose square corners for panels with square upper corners. Check the fencing before ordering, as the artwork template and finished shape must match your selection.

How are the runner widths calculated? A runner begins with the 3,375mm width of one standard banner, with 3,530mm added for each additional panel. Ordering from the listed runner sizes is recommended to ensure the graphic aligns correctly across the fencing.

Are runners supplied as one continuous graphic? The listed runners are designed as continuous multi-panel graphics. Very long banners may need to be produced in sections and joined during manufacture for practical handling and finishing.

Are the fence panels and fixings included? No. This product includes the printed banner only. Heras fencing, feet, clips, bungee ties and other installation hardware must be supplied separately.

How should the banner be fitted? Secure it through the perimeter eyelets using suitable bungee ball ties. Work around the banner evenly so the tension is distributed across the graphic rather than concentrated at individual eyelets. Cable ties can be used, but bungee ball ties are recommended because they provide some movement and help reduce sudden strain on the eyelets and fabric. Do not pull either fixing type excessively tight.

Can banners be fitted to both sides of a fence panel? Yes, but placing banners on both sides reduces airflow through the fencing. The design on one side may also show through the other banner and affect its appearance. The fencing must remain safely installed and suitably supported.

Are these banners suitable for permanent outdoor use? They are produced for outdoor display, but their lifespan depends on exposure, installation and maintenance. Inspect the banners and fencing regularly, and remove the graphics if weather conditions could make the installation unsafe.

Can I order a custom-length runner? The standard options cover up to six panels. Contact SM1 if you require a different length or an unusual fencing layout so the size, material and finishing can be checked before ordering.

Do you supply banners for Heras vehicle and pedestrian gates? Yes. Gate banners are supplied as separate products because they use different dimensions and require reinforced access points for the locking mechanism.

Can I create the artwork in Canva? Canva may not be suitable for a runner because the artwork must follow a specialist template and is prepared at a reduced scale. If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork? Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are needed. We can also create a complete Heras Fence Banner or multi-panel runner design using your branding, logos, messaging and site information. Artwork corrections and design work may be chargeable.
