Which Pop-Up Counter size should I choose?
The 1×2 counter is suitable where floor space is limited or where only one person will normally stand behind it. The 2×2 counter provides a wider working surface and more graphic space for larger stands and reception areas. Both counters have the same height and depth.

What is included with the counter?
Each counter includes the magnetic frame, custom-printed wraparound graphic, beech-effect countertop, internal shelf and carry bag.

How is the counter assembled?
Open the frame and allow the self-locking magnetic sections to connect. Fit the internal shelf and countertop, then attach the printed graphic around the outside. One person can normally assemble the complete counter in approximately five minutes without specialist tools.

How does the graphic attach to the frame?
The semi-rigid printed panel wraps around the front and sides of the frame, continuing towards the rear. It is secured to the counter hardware to create a smooth curved display. Follow the assembly instructions and avoid sharply bending or creasing the graphic.

What is the graphic printed on?
The graphic is printed on a semi-rigid Pop-Up Material with an anti-scratch surface and a light-stop backing. The light-stop layer helps prevent the frame and items stored inside from showing through the print.

Does the graphic cover the back of the counter?
The artwork wraps around the front and sides and continues towards the rear edges. The centre front section is clearly marked on the artwork template. Keep primary logos, messages and contact details within the central front area so they remain clearly visible.

Does the counter include storage?
Yes. One internal shelf is included for literature, stationery and lightweight event items. The rear remains accessible while the counter is assembled. Avoid overloading the shelf or placing unstable items inside the frame.

Is the countertop included?
Yes. A beech-effect thermoformed countertop is supplied with the counter.

Is the counter easy to transport?
Yes. The hardware folds down and is supplied with a carry bag. The graphic should be rolled carefully rather than folded to avoid creases or damage to the semi-rigid material.

Can the counter be used outdoors?
No. The Pop-Up Counter is intended for indoor use at exhibitions, conferences, retail promotions and events.

Can I order a replacement graphic?
Yes. Replacement graphics are available if your existing counter hardware is still in good condition. Make sure you select the correct 1×2 or 2×2 graphic, as the two counter sizes use different artwork dimensions.

Will a replacement graphic fit another manufacturer's counter?
Not necessarily. Counter dimensions, fixing positions and graphic shapes can vary between manufacturers.

Provide photographs and measurements of your existing hardware before ordering so SM1 can check compatibility.

How should I clean the graphic?
Wipe the printed surface carefully with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents or rough materials, as these may damage the print or anti-scratch surface. Allow the graphic to dry completely before rolling and storing it.

How should I store the counter graphic?
Roll the graphic with a wide, even curve and keep it inside its protective packaging or carry bag. Do not fold it or place heavy objects on top, as this can cause permanent creases or cracking.

Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable because the artwork must follow a shaped template and is prepared at 20% scale. The design must also account for the central front area and the sections that wrap around the sides. If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are required. We can also create a complete Pop-Up Counter design using your branding, logos, messaging and event information. Artwork adjustments and design services may be chargeable. Any costs will be confirmed before work begins.
