What is the difference between a full kit and an extension kit?
A full kit includes two posts and bases, allowing it to stand independently. An extension kit includes one post and base and must connect to a full kit or another post.

Which size should I choose?
The 1,000mm barrier suits compact areas, while the 1,500mm and 2,000mm options cover wider spaces with fewer units. Different sizes can be combined to create a suitable layout.

Which material should I choose?
Display/Stretch Polyester provides a smooth fabric finish and is suitable for general indoor and outdoor display. Fabric Mesh Premium has an open structure that allows more air to pass through, making it a practical choice for more exposed outdoor positions.

Can both materials be printed on two sides?
Yes. Display/Stretch Polyester and Fabric Mesh Premium are available with single or double-sided printing.

What is the difference between single and double-sided graphics?
Single-sided graphics display artwork on one side. Double-sided graphics include two printed faces, allowing the barrier to display correctly from both directions.

Can each side have a different design?
Yes. Different artwork can be supplied for the front and back of a double-sided graphic. Both pages must be supplied, even when the same design is required on each side.

Can I use different designs across my order?
Yes. You can supply different artwork for individual barriers. Clearly label each file with the required size, material, printed sides and position within the layout.

How many kits do I need?
Start with at least one full kit. Add an extension kit for each additional barrier section. Separate or divided layouts may require more than one full kit.

Can the barriers form corners?
Yes. Each post collar can connect up to four horizontal bars, allowing straight runs, corners and enclosed arrangements to be created.

Can Deluxe Café Barriers be used outdoors?
Yes, for temporary outdoor display. Position each base on stable, level ground and dismantle the barriers during adverse weather or winds above Beaufort Scale 4, approximately 13–18mph.

How should the barriers be moved?
Disconnect the horizontal bars from the posts before moving the hardware. Do not lift or carry an assembled layout by its bars, as this may damage the connecting latches.

How should I clean and store the graphics?
Wash the fabric at 30°C without detergent and allow it to dry completely before storing. Store the graphics in a clean, dry place and avoid folding them around sharp objects.

How long will the graphics last?
Lifespan depends on the material, weather, location and frequency of use. A regularly used outdoor graphic has a realistic maximum lifespan of approximately one year. Correct installation and dry storage will help extend its usable life.

Can I order replacement graphics without new hardware?
Yes. Replacement graphics are available for compatible Deluxe Café Barrier hardware. Select the correct size, material and number of printed sides.

Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable because the artwork must follow a specialist template prepared at a reduced scale. If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are needed. We can also create a complete Deluxe Café Barrier design using your branding, logos and messaging. Artwork adjustments and design services may be chargeable, with any costs confirmed before work begins.
