What does GSM mean?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre and refers to the thickness of the material. The higher the GSM, the heavier and thicker the paper. We offer Business Cards from 350gsm to 450gsm which is our heaviest standard business card, measuring approximately half a 0.5mm thick. But if you're after an even thicker business card, you should definitely check out our Luxurious Triplex Business Cards.
What is the standard UK business card size?
In the UK, the majority of Business Cards measure 55 x 85mm, which is roughly the same size as a credit card. It's a classic size that's widely recognised, appreciated and fits in a purse/wallet.
What is matt lamination?
Let us introduce you to the fabulous world of matt lamination! It's a transparent ultra-thin layer of matt finish film that we lovingly apply to both sides of your Business Card after printing. This extra step not only adds a delightful texture but also safeguards your card against discolouration and fading. It's a win-win!
Will matt lamination dull my design?
Absolutely not! In fact, matt lamination enhances your design with a more natural and softer appearance. It reduces contrast, particularly on darker colors, resulting in an elegant and sophisticated look.
Are there any alternatives to 450gsm?

Can laminated Business Cards be recycled?
We wish we could say yes, but unfortunately, laminated paper is quite challenging to recycle. Once the lamination is applied, the paper cannot be separated from it. However, we're constantly exploring eco-friendly alternatives, so stay tuned for any exciting updates on that front!

Download TemplatesUnzipping a folder is easy on both Apple Mac and PC. On a Mac, double-click the zipped folder or right-click and choose "Open With" > "Archive Utility." The contents will be extracted to the same location. On a PC, right-click the zipped folder and select "Extract All." Follow the prompts, choose the destination, and you'll find the unzipped folder in no time.
