Meet The Studio Team

We are a team of print, design and marketing professionals with a combined experience of 150 years.

For the past 30 years, SM1 Print Studio has been providing complete and effective solutions to businesses and organisations not only within Sutton but also extending our reach as far as Australia. Our success stems from more than just print; it lies in working with the right people. That’s why we’ve hand-picked knowledgeable experts to form our studio team. Meet the faces behind SM1 Print Studio.

Managing Director

Sam joined the Studio in 2016 from a local print company and nearly 20 years' experience in the design and print industry.

Sam is responsible for key client relationships, project management, and focuses on business development. He is passionate about videography, his favourite book is 'Shantaram,' and he enjoys discovering new routes during his long walks.

Sam loves double espressos and is always on the lookout for new podcasts to listen to!

In early 2023, Pauline brought over two decades of print industry experience to the Studio team, having managed print requirements for major clients like Superdrug.

As Client Relationship Manager, she excels in estimating projects and fostering client connections. Beyond work, Pauline is a Crystal Palace FC enthusiast who coaches girls' football and boasts an eclectic of tattoos.

However, it's her thrill-seeking nature that truly defines her—frequently scaling tall buildings and even adopting a lion. Despite her adventurous spirit, Pauline harbors a peculiar dislike for butter, adding an intriguing quirk to her dynamic personality.

Head of Production

Jay joined the Studio in January 2008, boasting over 25 years of experience in the print industry. He oversees the production and fulfilment of all orders, meticulously conducting file checks and maintaining stringent quality control standards.

Despite his previous enthusiasm for cooking, Jay has transitioned into an air fryer whizz, delighting in experimenting with new recipes and loves a Belgian Bun!

Jay is an Arsenal FC supporter and has a passion for cinema, which shines through with his fondness for Tarantino films and binge-worthy box sets, which also serve as inspiration for his exceptional performance in quizzes.

While Jay finds solace in cooking to the tunes of Metallica, his aversion to traveling to London remains steadfast.

Production Assistant

Jon joined the Studio in 2013, swiftly becoming an integral team member. His expertise in Adobe Photography aids in perfecting images, ensuring top-notch quality across projects. Jon's roles encompass print finishing, large format printing, packaging, and quality control, where his attention to detail shines.

Beyond work, Jon's love for cars fuels lively discussions among colleagues, while his photography skills capture moments with finesse.

Design & Marketing

With over 30 years of industry experience, Ayshea spearheads marketing, social media, and digital services at the Studio.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she delves into her passions for language and sports, currently immersing herself in French studies and avidly supporting Formula 1. As a Chelsea FC fan her enthusiasm for football adds vibrancy to the workplace.

Ayshea's love for travel takes her far and wide, providing inspiration and cultural enrichment. However, her distaste for sugar extends beyond personal preference as she annoyingly monitors and polices her colleagues' sugar intake, advocating for healthier habits in the workplace.

Business Development

Anthony provides invaluable support with strategy, planning, and financial control, leveraging his expertise to drive success within the team.

A true music aficionado, he’s not just a listener but a multi instrumentalist tinkering with jazz, folk and anything else he can find to play. Anthony also indulges in his passion for cars; so whether it’s picking or bowing melodies or searching out quiet country lanes early on a Sunday, Anthony finds joy in life’s simple pleasures.
