What does gsm mean?

GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre and refers to the thickness of the material. The higher the GSM, the heavier and thicker the paper. We offer Business Cards from 350gsm to 450gsm which is our heaviest standard business card, measuring approximately half a 0.5mm thick. But if you're after an even thicker business card, you should definitely check out our Luxurious Triplex Business Cards.

What does silk paper feel like?

What is the standard UK business card size?

In the UK, the majority of Business Cards measure 55 x 85mm, which is roughly the same size as a credit card. It's a classic size that's widely recognised, appreciated and fits in a purse/wallet.

Do you recommend Business Cards be printed on one or two sides?

The choice between one or two-sided printing depends entirely on your design and the amount of information you wish to include on your Business Card. Some designs may shine with a logo on one side and personal details on the other, creating a visually striking impact.

Are there any alternatives to 450gsm?

Our handy templates are available in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat PDF Format and the zipped folder can be downloaded to help you create your artwork to the right dimensions.

Download Templates

Unzipping a folder is easy on both Apple Mac and PC. On a Mac, double-click the zipped folder or right-click and choose "Open With" > "Archive Utility." The contents will be extracted to the same location. On a PC, right-click the zipped folder and select "Extract All." Follow the prompts, choose the destination, and you'll find the unzipped folder in no time.
