Which size should I choose?
Choose a width based on your available floor space and how the display will be used. The 850mm and 1,000mm stands work well as individual promotional displays, while the wider sizes provide more room for exhibition graphics, branded backdrops and presentation areas.

What is the difference between the Economy and Premium stands?
The Economy Stand uses stabilising feet and is available in wider display sizes from 850mm to 2,500mm. The Premium Stand has a more substantial base and includes additional compact widths, making it useful where a smaller footprint or heavier base is preferred.

What is the difference between single and double-sided printing?
A single-sided stand has a full-colour printed front and a plain white reverse. A double-sided stand is printed on both faces, making it suitable for open spaces where the display will be viewed from different directions.

Can I have different artwork on each side?
Yes. Double-sided stands can display the same design on both sides or a different design on each side. Artwork must be supplied for both faces, even when the same design is repeated.

What is included with the stand?
The stand includes a snap-fit aluminium frame, stabilising feet, custom-printed fabric graphic, fitting gloves and a carry bag.

How is the stand assembled?
Connect the numbered frame sections, pull the fabric graphic carefully over the frame and close the zip underneath. The stabilising feet are then fitted to complete the stand. No tools are required.

Can one person assemble it?
Yes. The stand is designed to be assembled by one person in approximately five to six minutes. A second person may make fitting the graphic easier on the largest sizes.

Is the stand portable?
Yes. The frame dismantles into sections, and both the hardware and folded graphic fit inside the supplied carry bag. Make sure the fabric is clean and completely dry before packing it away.

Can several Economy Stands be positioned together?
Yes. Multiple stands can be placed side by side to create a wider display. They do not physically connect, so each unit must be assembled and positioned separately.

Can the stand be used outdoors?
No. Stretch Fabric Economy Stands are intended for indoor use and are not designed to withstand wind or rain.

Will the frame show through the fabric?
Strong lighting from behind or directly above the display may make parts of the frame visible through the fabric. Where possible, avoid positioning the stand in front of bright windows, spotlights or other strong backlighting.

Can a design continue from the front to the back?
Simple background colours may continue around the stand, but fine lines, detailed patterns and elements requiring exact alignment should not cross between the front and reverse. Slight movement can occur during printing, cutting and sewing.

How should I clean the graphic?
The fabric graphic can be washed at 30°C without detergent. Allow it to dry completely before refitting or storing it. SM1 cannot accept responsibility for damage caused during washing.

Can I order a replacement graphic?
Yes. Replacement graphics are available without purchasing another frame. Select the correct stand width and number of printed sides when ordering.

Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable for this large display because the artwork must follow a specialist template and be prepared at a reduced scale. If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable for your design or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.

Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are needed. We can also create a complete Stretch Fabric Economy Stand design using your branding, logos, messaging and event information. Artwork corrections and design services may be chargeable.
