What does GSM mean?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre and refers to the thickness of the material. The higher the GSM, the heavier and thicker the paper. We offer Business Cards from 350gsm to 450gsm which is our heaviest standard business card, measuring approximately half a 0.5mm thick. But if you're after an even thicker business card, you should check out our Luxurious Triplex Business Cards.

What is the standard UK Business Card size?

In the UK, the majority of Business Cards measure 85 x 55mm, which is roughly the same size as a credit card. It's a classic size that's widely recognised, appreciated and fits in a purse/wallet.

Will my shiny laminated Business Cards look cheap?

Are there any alternatives to 350gsm and 450gsm?

Why would I need gloss lamination?

Gloss lamination is not only stylish but also practical. By adding a protective layer to your cards, lamination makes them more durable. So, even if your cards experience some wear and tear, they will continue to look fresh and professional.

Can I have round corners on my Business Cards?

Absolutely! We believe in giving you the freedom to create unique and eye-catching business cards. You can choose an overall round corner option from our finishing types, or if you're feeling extra creative, you can select individual corners for a truly distinctive look.

Can laminated Business Cards be recycled?

Unfortunately, laminated paper cannot be easily recycled due to the lamination process. The paper and lamination cannot be separated effectively. However, we are always exploring eco-friendly alternatives and encourage responsible printing practices to minimise environmental impact.

Our handy templates are available in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat PDF Format and the zipped folder can be downloaded to help you create your artwork to the right dimensions.

Download Templates

Unzipping a folder is easy on both Apple Mac and PC. On a Mac, double-click the zipped folder or right-click and choose "Open With" > "Archive Utility." The contents will be extracted to the same location. On a PC, right-click the zipped folder and select "Extract All." Follow the prompts, choose the destination, and you'll find the unzipped folder in no time.
