Thunder Pull-Up Banner Templates
Unzipping a folder is easy on both Apple Mac and PC. On a Mac, double-click the zipped folder or right-click and choose "Open With" > "Archive Utility." The contents will be extracted to the same location. On a PC, right-click the zipped folder and select "Extract All." Follow the prompts, choose the destination, and you'll find the unzipped folder in no time.

The Thunder Outdoor Pull-Up Banner displays two full-colour PVC graphics within a sturdy, portable roller banner system.
Large twin feet, a heavy-duty support pole, and supplied ground pegs provide added outdoor stability. The graphics retract into the base for transport and storage, with a carry case included.

What is included with the Thunder Banner?
Each system includes two printed PVC graphics fitted into the roller banner unit, a screw-secured top rail, support pole, ground pegs and carry case.
Is the Thunder Banner printed on both sides?
Yes. It includes two separate printed graphics, allowing your message to be seen from both directions. The same artwork can be used on each side, or you can supply a different design for each side.
How much of each graphic is visible?
Each graphic measures 850 × 2,175mm, with a visible area of approximately 850 × 2,025mm. The bottom section remains inside the roller mechanism and must not contain important information.
Can the Thunder Banner be used indoors?
Yes. It can be used indoors without the ground pegs, provided the twin feet are opened fully and the unit is positioned on a stable, level surface.
Can it be used on hard surfaces outdoors?
The ground pegs are designed for suitable soft ground. Without the pegs, the system should only be used in very light winds of up to approximately 7mph. For outdoor use on hard ground, contact SM1 to discuss whether an alternative display would be more suitable.
How do I secure it outdoors?
Open both feet fully and use all supplied ground pegs in suitable ground. Check that the unit is stable and that the surrounding area is clear before extending the graphics.
Can it remain outside in windy weather?
When correctly secured with the supplied ground pegs, the system can be used in winds up to Beaufort Scale 5, approximately 19–24mph. Dismantle it during stronger winds, heavy rain or adverse weather.
How should I extend and retract the graphics?
Guide each graphic slowly and vertically into and out of the base. Do not pull or retract it at an angle, as this can damage the graphic or roller mechanism. One person should control the graphic while assembling or dismantling the display.
Can several Thunder Banners be positioned together?
Yes, but leave enough space between them so the graphics and poles cannot touch, catch or obstruct one another. Each unit must be secured separately.
How should I clean and store the banner?
Wipe the PVC graphics gently with a soft, damp cloth and allow them to dry completely before retracting them. Store the clean, dry system inside its carry case and keep it away from excessive heat or moisture.
Can I create the artwork in Canva?
Canva may not be suitable for this large-format display because the artwork must follow a specialist template prepared at a reduced scale. If you plan to use Canva, contact SM1 before starting. We can advise whether it is suitable or help prepare the final print-ready artwork.
Can SM1 check or design my artwork?
Yes. SM1 can check supplied files and advise if corrections are needed. We can also create a complete Thunder Banner design using your branding, logos, messaging and event information. Artwork adjustments and design services may be chargeable, with any costs confirmed before work begins.
